Look! A bud on one of the zinnias planted August 6! I can hardly wait until the bloom opens - I've never seen a peppermint zinnia, so this will be a new experience for me.

A bud already? You have become quite the Green Thumb Lady. I can't wait to see what it looks like either.
I just checked the zinnias and there are buds, albeit some very small, on most of the plants. Not only as these supposed to be peppermint striped, they are also various colors.
